Bringing time back to life
The restorer makes, cleans, adjusts and repairs parts and mechanisms of timepieces: watches, chiming clocks and clocks. He examines each device to see what is stopping it from working as it should, estimates the cost of repairs and then discusses this with the client before repairing the defective parts.
The training programme opens up access to a number of workplaces including in the watch industry and at small, specialised traders, watch repair workshops and large retailers.
