It all adds up!
The accountant establishes and manages the company’s accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory, and is in charge of the general ledger, the annual closing of accounts and e-banking payments. He manages annual budgets and auditing, and establishes VAT returns. His regular tasks include drawing up a management report, financial planning and updating cash-flow statements. He understands the legal considerations and the standards applicable to businesses, knows how to complete a tax return form. He manages the staff files: contracts, wages, social security contributions.
He is to be found in various sectors of the economy, where he works for in private companies (banks, businesses, real estate) and public enterprises (administration, schools, sport), foundations, associations and independent undertakings.
