Laboratory Technician - Antibody-based Proteomics
This temporary Laboratory Technician position is within the Proteomics and Lipidomics Team in the Preclinical Science and Toxicology Department. You will work on in vitro, in vivo, and clinical samples and perform antibody-based protein analyses according to the applicable quality standards, including GLP/GCLP. The position also requires interactions with colleagues from different disciplines for study planning and reporting.
- Prepare samples from in vitro, in vivo, and clinical studies for antibody-based protein analyses
- Perform antibody-based protein analyses including Luminex assays, MSD assays, ELISAs, and Western Blots
- Perform data analysis of antibody-based protein data
- Develop and validate antibody-based methods
- Perform and document laboratory activities according to applicable quality standards (PMI QMS, GCLP, GLP)
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (centrifuges, pipettes, etc.)
- Contribute to study plans and compile scientific reports in English
Qualifications needed
Technical know-how or competencies required - Education: Minimum CFC degree/Bachelor’s degree (biological / chemistry)
- Work experience: at least 2 years working in a scientific laboratory setting
- Experience in the preparation of samples for protein analyses
- Experience in antibody-based protein assays such as ELISAs and Western Blots
- Experience in the validation of bioanalytical methods
- Experience with Luminex Flexmap and/or MSD instruments is a plus
- Other Skills: Good communications skills in English, and good command on the use Microsoft Office applications
