IT Solution Architect

Your assignment

You will be responsible of creating, maintaining and enhancing the technical design of our commercial systems infrastructure (consumer database solutions, retailer apps, digital platforms, mobile apps and integrations) using service and project management. Utilizing the correct governance and serving as intermediary with global PMI Information Technology teams, to help PMI employees achieve their business objectives.
- Have consistency and centralized end to end knowledge of our systems architecture ? Build solutions within cross projects and long-term vision. Avoid duplicated developments.
- Assess technical complexity of new initiatives/projects requested by other departments.
- Analyze business requirements for new initiatives/projects. Based on them create and maintain technical specification documents.
- Presentation of technical specifications to IT and Digital project leaders for approval.
- Organize meetings with our development team to explain the technical specifications to start developments.
- Management of global technical IT projects covering rollout of eCommerce, websites, digital consumer service center, digital trade engagement, social media suite, 1-2-1 marketing, in-person consumer engagement, retail engagement.
- Apply project management, change management, service management methodology and usability practices. Maintain active contact and communication with stakeholders and provide advice and consulting to managements on business matters having IT implications.
- Ensure measures are taken in projects to increase quality and mitigate risk, manage scope change and expectation, including risk analysis, impact assessment, needs assessment, financial analysis, requirements signoff, test planning and execution, contingency and deployment plans.
- Resolve complex project related issues by analyzing, identifying and facilitating the emergence of solutions leading to optimal resolution.
- Ensure development and distribution of quality project-related documentation to all interested parties.
- Ensure adherence to all PMI IT security policies and guidelines on security and compliance by leading the assessment, planning and implementation of InfoSec requirements (policies, guidelines, SOX, privacy etc.) in order to minimize risks regarding confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
- Bring support to our stakeholders to assess / create / fix potential issues or change requests.
- Manage backlog of tickets in our ticketing tool in order to have regular deployments in production.

Your profile

* University degree in Information Techology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* 5 years of relevant experience in deploying IT systems and services.
* Understanding of organizations business and able to discuss business requirements with leadership outside of IT and ability to develop and articulate technical concepts for general use
* Ideally certified AWS cloud practitioner or can demonstrate an experience in cloud topics.
* Sound understanding of current and future Technology capability
* Experience of reliably handling complex projects over extended periods
* Experience in working with PMP, Lean Startup, Agile and SCRUM methodologies and teams.
* Excellent digital skills, combined with knowledge on customer support, consumer engagement and communications.
* Experience in the deployment of mobile apps and Digital/CRM solutions
* Experience in data analytics and transactional sales systems is an asset
* Stakeholder relationship management experience.
* Strong creative skills, with knowledge in app design and UX
* Fluent in both written and spoken English
* Drive for results, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, ready to work in a challenging business environment.
