Integrated Facilities Management System Engineer IFMS / HVAC
Ensure correct operation and maintenance of utilities equipment and systems in order to have uninterrupted supply of air compressed, vacuum, HVAC, steam, gas, water and other energy sources for the site. Develop maintenance strategies and follow-up on maintenance plans completion via a global subcontractor. Ensure availability and update of equipment documentation. Initiate modifications and up-grades of equipment that improve efficiency and participates in the implementation
Ensure full compliance with local legislation, company policies and practices. Perform measuring and audits as well as coordinate with EHS on all energy inspections and revisions required by authorities, review outcomes and initiate needed interventions to ensure keeping of EHSS rules
Support preparation and implementation of all new projects related to utilities and environmental aspects.
Manage budget and prepare proper analysis related to the costs of utilities operation and maintenance in order to accurately prepare annual budget. Periodically control budget spending and propose actions for correction or improvement. Initiate and plan productivity initiatives as well as efficient use of budget by targeting optimum balance between cost, quality, service, safety and security
Stay up to date on new technologies in Engineering and carry out improvements and upgrades for Building Management System software/hardware. Conduct feasibility studies related to improvements of existing utilities, analyzes effectiveness of technical solutions and ensure reliability of equipment and network
Manage, update and optimize energy consumption and all energy processes including environment aspects and impacts
Prepare failure mode analysis for utilities breakdowns. Follow up on implementation of corrective actions
University degree in engineering (HVAC, utilities and project management)
A professional with minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering department, industrial environment and/or facility management / utilities operation
Desired experience in asset management, contractors management, utilities equipment
Formal education in utilities processes and/or equipment is a plus
Analytical thinking, strong problem solving coupled with ability to set priorities
A team player with strong interpersonal, listening and collaborative skills
Action and result focused with organizational agility
Ability to communicate effectively
Advanced MS Office Package and Safety Management
Fluent in French and intermediate/advanced proficiency in English
