Attached to a director, a manager or an entire division, the PA to the Management assists in all daily tasks. He or she manages the mail, filters telephone calls, writes minutes and takes notes, organises management meetings and plans the calendar. Accounting for management’s expenses, invoices and credit card statements is also part of his or her remit. The PA to the Management is the face of the company in contact with clients, suppliers and staff representatives. Sometimes, he or she also participates in internal and external communication via the company magazine.
This position can be found for management of all private companies and public enterprises, as well as in foundations.
