An expert in working with wood
The joiner cuts, adjusts and sands solid timber, composite materials, and occasionally aluminium, and then assembles, fits and finishes doors, windows, cupboards, panelling, gates and even skis. They either work as craftsmen or on an industrial scale, when they make use of CNC machinery for production.
They find employment with SMEs in the construction sector, in industry, with craftsmen, in workshops and on site with projects involving building, fit-outs and renovation.
