Steering the machine from the cab, at its foot or with remote control, they manoeuvre, lift and move heavy loads. For this task, crane drivers set up the equipment and materials, check the stability of the crane, inspect and maintain it and ensure the safety of persons working on site.
They plan the transport, usage and erection of cranes and spend most of their time at the site where they are managing the machines.
