Provider Contracting Senior Advisor
The Provider Contracting Senior Advisor provides strategic consultation to the negotiator team for a number of assigned pharmaceutical manufacturer accounts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Contract review, business redlines, finalizing matrices, interpretation, strategic business review development and participation in other strategic initiatives. Understanding the financial impact of assigned accounts. The position will align to the Sr. Director leadership team's account vision. The position will work with Business Development and understand the anticipated changes in the market to make recommendations and provide guidance on necessary contract adjustments. This role is an Advisor to the Negotiator team and will create new principles and concepts for delivering the needs of the Negotiator team.
Formal Education and/or Training:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
8-12 years relevant experience with Bachelor's degree
Excellent Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
In addition, superior verbal and written communication, analytical and organizational skills.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of the Specialty, Healthcare, Pharma and PBM industry preferred; Ability to assess program metrics
and financials; Strong critical thinking skills. Sophistication at positioning our value prop and our ability to meet
client needs; Ability, confidence and experience to be counterparts with the Sr. Provider Contracting Advisor team;
Demonstrated ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment; Ability to prioritize work for self and make
independent recommendations; Ability to manage timelines to meet deadlines and document progress on projects
as required; Must be willing to work a flexible schedule during times of peak volume.
